Check up from the neck up...

Just a quick reminder that the D&C reading challenge is still alive and well. Seth is the first to complete the reading assignment - well done, Seth! I think others are close behind. To refresh memories - the challenge is to complete the reading by the end of September for a special recognition at Christmas; for those who complete the reading by the end of June, a double recognition awaits you!

I am proud of each one of you - for taking the challenge and sticking with it. Go Team Morgan!

Anxious to have everyone together again when we can...until then, stay cool and keep in touch!

Love to all,

Dad

conversations at tuck in time

Last night tucking Clayton into bed:

Me: Goodnight Clayton...
C: Mom? Lay - Lemnoes look like this...(see first picture below)
Me: What Clay?
C: Lay - Lemnoes look like this...(repeat)
Me: What do you mean son?
C: When they tie Nephi to the ship
Me: Ohhh! Yeah Clayton and what does Nephi look like?
C: This! (view second photo)

I love being his mom!

Fathers and Sons Outing - May 15, 2009

This year's F&S celebrated the restoration of the Aaronic Priesthood exactly 180 years to the day and day of the week! Grandpa, Blake and Clay trekked up the rim to a remote campground in the Coconino Forest, pitched our tent, cooked our meal and had a ball! A trip to a fish hatchery, a bald eagle (rare occurrence in Arizona...), squirrels, snakes, water, dirt, a game of catch - just the sort of things boys enjoy...and we did!

Okay, guys -let's go!

Off we go...

I love to hike!

Oooh..a 'nake'

Ready to wade...

Oooh...that's cold!

Dad 'n' Lad time

As good as it gets!

Our 1 Year Celebration!

Hey Family!!
So here are some pictures from Vegas... We has a blast but were definitely ready to come home from all the "worldly" scenes. It really made us grateful for what we do have, we couldn't be more grateful for our temple marriage! I'm so glad that our family will be together forever! We love you guys!

I had to get my Chipotle fill!
The fountains at Belagio, it was beautiful!

Us waiting to watch the fountains.

Do you see a resemblance? :)

So we went and saw the Lion Habitat at MGM grand... It was Tyler's favorite part! There was a glass tunnel you could walk under and it just so happened that the lion was resting right on top of it. It was quite a rush to have a 500 lb lion right above you and the only thing separating you was glass! :) They are truly magnificent animals!

I was trying to decide which Ipod to get from the vending machine... crazy!

Waiting for Cirque DU Soleil to start.

P.S. I think I should get a special prize for posting the 100th post! :) j/k

Food storage ideas!

So...what do you do with your food storage? Savea decided to make a castle for his cars with ours. He stacked each and every one of these cans by himself and made a bridge for his cars by himself.  He was so proud of it that we had to leave it up for a few days.  Savea got a hold of the camera and took pictures of his cars.  He told me the other day that he wants to go on a mission that has race cars in it.  One of Seth's boys gave Vea a large bin of cars the other day and he has been on cloud nine since.  Can I say...obsessed!  :)
