Sayla's Mobile!!
And thus it begins!! :) After I turned off the camera, she scooted herself over to the couch and got herself stuck. She's has also discovered the tile. She thinks it's pretty fun to play in her drool on the tile. As she drools, she will smear it ALL over the tile. Messy but cute.

Hi Family!
So one of my new year's goals is to journal more frequently. (I was kind to myself and only made four goals this year...thanks to Benjamin Franklin) After Andrea was here visiting and she shared with me her vision of our family blog becoming a more frequented and updated family journal, I was even more excited to do better. So this post of mine is a little recap and update of 2011 so far...actually since I've blogged last. I'm liking '11 even though I've always jinxed myself that the even numbered years are the best. Here's 11 updates from the Bentley Bunch:
1. Morgan turned 7 !!! Holy cow...I think she added a 1 in the tens place! With a new haircut, chapter books, and skinny jeans, she is quite the little lady these days. Her b-day was a fun time spent eating waffles, lunch date with dad, Chipotles with Grandma, and her first D-backs hat from Grandpa Ted.
2. We're having a BOY! The disappointed tears have stopped from Morgan and Clayton has named our tres...Mr. Hopper!
3. Clayton eats peas! Yup...secret ingredient included makes the pea pods go down...secret ingredient=empty salt shaker...that's called a PhD in parenting.
4. Blake gets speeding ticket and makes it into the District's Boy Scout Hall of Fame (unrelated events)
5. Michelle gets to see the movie Grown Ups and laughs uncontrollably with snorting
6. We get to feel and see baby Broadbent kick through Auntie Lara's basketball belly
7. Taking turns giving baby Sayla her bedtime baths...Saaaaaaylaaaaaa, Saaa aaaa aaaa laaaa (Just Dance 2)
8. Awesome oranges and grapefruits on our citrus trees this year.
9. One flat tire
10. Blake talking to the YM in the Stake about bananas, football, and $67 for ward conferences. It's a great analogy that you'll have to have him tell you about
11. Clayton taking his hat off at the dinner table and putting it over his heart right before the prayer
