Family Pictures...

Hey everyone! Mom, I know you want to take family pictures while everyone is down, so I just wanted to ask everyone what they think about deciding on something to wear for pictures. Some of my suggestions are black shirts and jeans on a grassy area, or white shirts and jeans maybe by the temple. Just ideas, I will not be offended at all if nobody likes those ideas:) Just trying to get the ball rolling. Let me know what you guys think! Hope you are all doing well and can't wait to see everyone!!

Missing you....

We had a fun birthday celebration last night for Michelle. Dad made a delicious "Chicken Michelle" dish that we'll have when you're hear for Christmas. We were able to watch the Christmas broadcast at home....so nice. Just wish all of you could have been with us. I'll have Michelle post some pictures of the evening. We are SO excited for Christmas.....

I just wanted to share a tender moment with you. Last night Morgan asked if she could say the blessing on the food and Dad said, "Lets let Grandma ". We had Gramdma Poulsen over and she thought dad wanted her to say the blessing, so she proceded to give the blessing the same time as I started. I stopped and let her finish. It was the most beautiful blessing and I (we) cried. It's been a long time since I've heard mom give a prayer. What a highlight on Michelle's birthday dinner.

This morning I overheard Morgan's personal prayers (something I often love to overhear!). It went something like this:"Dear Heavenly Father, please bless my family that we'll be together forever, bless my dad to come home safely, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty, and justice for all, please help us to be safe, and to play nice..."
I guess there's nothing wrong with this...we should all be praying for our country! =)

Clayton has been speaking some new terms the last little bit. We wanted to inform you of some new terminology!

"ball game" - any round object that is used in any sporting event...sometimes used to wake mommy and daddy up in the morning as it is bounced off our foreheads at 6:00 am

"monkey bars" - monkey pattern pajama pants or a monkey pattern blanket

"cayton bentee beh green" - clayton's place of slumber with BLUE sheets

"I'm a pirate ship" - I'm a pirate for halloween

"mickey mouse bike" - diapers with this picture on the front

Goodbye Fall... Hello Winter

Sorry it's been a while since we have posted anything; our Internet has been down for the past week and haven't been able to get on. Hope you don't mind all the pics but we've done a lot of fun things the past little while and we want to share with you all. The new blog looks amazing!!! Rudy did you do it? Or did you, Shell? Whoever did it, good job! We hope everyone is doing great, we've enjoyed all the fun pictures!

It's starting to get really cold here, it even snowed on Tuesday! I'm going to miss the fun fall weather but the snow will be fun if we get a chance to go snowboarding :)

Dad, I can't wait to see the new floors and baseboards you've been working so hard on. I'm sure it's beautiful!

Our Princess and Pirate!

Here's a few pics of our pirate and princess this year! They had a great time dressing up and going trick or treating. Every time Clayton saw a pumpkin he said, "Look, a pumkim patch!" We had a lovely "Sleeping Beauty" and a "pirate - Mr. Smee - Napolean" combo!

We sure missed everyone this last week. Seeing the awesome pumpkin carvings has made me homesick. I have posted some pictures from our Halloween trip to Disney. We can't wait to do this with our family! Love you all so much!!
