Update...
It's been a little while since you've heard anything from the cornhuskers... Our house has been under constant repair since we had a cow crash into it from the tornados. But next time that happens I will be sure to grab the computer so I can blog while wait out the horrific tornados. j/k our house is fine but we did have a tornado right above us about a month ago. I think I've told everyone about that scary night but our neighbor just informed us that there was an actual tornado that was forming right above us, it just never touched down. Hopefully that spot in the sky is now "taken" so we won't have to experience a real tornado! Get me outta here!!
We had Natalie and Austin Johansen come visit us for the College World Series. It was so fun to see good friends again. We have some really good friends but we have yet to really "click" with anyone out here. Having them here for a visit reminded us what it was like to have really close friends. We took them to a CWS game but it was too hot and we got there late so it was standing room only. They have general admission tickets that we bought but it's a first come first serve basis for seating. So we only stayed for 5 innings and then left. Their little boy Cooper is such a tank, but so cute. Him and Macie are now BFF's.
Not much else has been going on. Tyler takes his finals this week and then we are coming home in 2 weeks! Woo hoo! We had a fun 4th of July but it wasn't nearly as cool as the traditional UT festivities. We missed everything about it and wished we could have been there.

We had to have an FHE lesson about why it's important to wait until 16 to start dating after this incident...
Since the humidity about kills us here, we find ourselves at the pool a lot. Macie LOVES the pool.
Her new swimsuit I got for 70% off... the hat kills me :)
