Savea's new smile

Savea has a new smile! About a month and a half ago he was at the gym with Seth when another boy decided to land on his face with his feet in the foam pit. I didn't see it but from what the other coaches said they were quite surprised that it didn't knock Vea out. Well, about 2 weeks ago we noticed that his front baby tooth started turning black. His gums around the tooth were also really infected. So I took him into the dentist and sure enough, the impact of that kids foot caused Vea's tooth to die. So the dentist pulled it along with the tooth next to it just in case the other tooth started to die as well. Vea was so brave. He had multiple shots in the mouth and could feel the pressure of them pulling it. We are so proud of how brave he was. He earned a smoothie afterwards.

2 month checkup

Macie had her 2 month checkup today and had to get her first set of immunizations. It was so sad to see her get poked but she did awesome. She cried when they poked her but you could tell it was a "it hurts mom, but I'm trying to be brave" cry. It's was a new one Tyler and I haven't heard yet. I felt so bad for her but 2 minutes later she was out and she's been a happy camper the rest of the day. 

She measured in at 11lbs and 5oz (58%) and 23in (72%). Looks like she might have gotten daddy's height :) Here's a picture of her owies...

It's been fun doing and sharing these...I love seeing your layouts and Lara I can't wait to see your baby announcements! You both inspired me to go back and do my kids birth pages digitally! I think this is one of the funnest, most worthwhile hobbies...I think I'm addicted!
