We had a fun birthday celebration last night for Michelle. Dad made a delicious "Chicken Michelle" dish that we'll have when you're hear for Christmas. We were able to watch the Christmas broadcast at home....so nice. Just wish all of you could have been with us. I'll have Michelle post some pictures of the evening. We are SO excited for Christmas.....
I just wanted to share a tender moment with you. Last night Morgan asked if she could say the blessing on the food and Dad said, "Lets let Grandma ". We had Gramdma Poulsen over and she thought dad wanted her to say the blessing, so she proceded to give the blessing the same time as I started. I stopped and let her finish. It was the most beautiful blessing and I (we) cried. It's been a long time since I've heard mom give a prayer. What a highlight on Michelle's birthday dinner.

It really was the neatest experience. I don't remember hearing Grandma pray since Grandpa passed away. It was almost like this prayer made up for all that time. It was so heartfelt, sincere, and personal. I just love her so much!
