It's Hammer Time!!...Can't touch this!!

Hi Family!

I'm so excited about the new look of the blog! Way to go Rudy...it looks awesome, and I love the title! Thanks for taking all that time to figure that out for us. We don't have a lot to post today, it's been a pretty regular week, but I want to share a silly thing Clayton did this morning!

We've been working with him to learn how to get dressed by himself. He's really great at saying, "no no no! by-self." So I got his clothes out for the day and let him at it. I knew the shorts would be tricky, but every time I tried to help, I got the same reply. So I asked him what he was going to do. He ran over to his toy box (with his shorts down around his ankles) and found his toy hammer! He came back and started hammering his shorts and saying "mom, I do it!" Morgan and I just started laughing and then he looked at us and with a serious look on his face asked, "funny?" It was funny...how grateful I am for these silly moments that provide humor and delight in my day!

I hope each of you have a silly and delightful moment today...if not, go find a hammer and enjoy the smiles!

love you all!

How cute....it won't be long before he'll be getting dressed all by himself. I had to stop and think of some of the many funny things you girls did when you were toddlers. Andrea--calling little girl panties, "Big Mama Pants", out loud in Learners. Michelle, smearing red lipstick all over your face and body. Lara, cutting your hair behind your bedroom door.

Please do better than I did at keeping up with your journals. This blog is one way of journaling...it's so fun to hear from you and what's going on in your lives. How did Dad and I get so lucky to have such three wonderful daughters, I LOVE you all so much.

Hey Lara! I think you click on your name (The Broadbent's) under contributers. It should give you an "Edit" option. Click on that and it should let you change your names. Hopefully that works. Love and Miss you!!
