Fondant!!
I finally decided to try decorating a cake with fondant. I see it done all the time by professional cake decorators on T.V. and I thought it looked fun. So... here is my first attempt with fondant. Luckily the camera doesn't show a lot of the imperfections. :) It was so much fun. Vea helped decorate and cut out the circles. He did such a good job. Maybe in about 10 years or so I will be able to make cakes we can sell. :) :)

Good job Andrea....I'm sure Vea had a blast helping you. I would love to learn how it's done. I'll try and find a rolling pin at Michaels.
Andrea... I'm so impressed with your cake! Before you know it we'll see you on Ace of Cakes! (If you haven't watched that show you should, it's amazing!) Can't wait to see you in one week!!!!!!! WOO HOO!!!!
Thanks guys!! Vea and I had a lot of fun together. Lara-you're sweet but I think I have a while before I will be appearing on Ace of Cakes :) We watch that all the time. It's one of our favorite shows. I can't wait to see you guys in ONE WEEK!! YAAAAAA!!!!
